- Given the INDUSTRIAL DESIGN award, which “celebrates form and function in an efficiently designed machine that effectively addresses the game challenge.” Ours was the only robot at the LA regional that could accomplish all aspects of the game: Shooting in autonomous, a 30 point climb, and scoring disks in the goal atop the pyramid.
Our team feels really good about our performance, especially knowing that we carried more of the weight of our Alliance through the Elimination rounds. We are looking forward to our next regional competition in Las Vegas, April 5-6. We hope to get a few things dialed in over the next two weeks and put on a great show in Veags!
